Produced to launch the fundraiser for the FEM PWR book reprint, the film reflects on fame, consent, and the reclaiming of sexual narratives. Playing with the aesthetics of leaked celebrity tapes, the project flirts with the idea that “sex sells,” creating a fundraiser for the reprint feminist projects and highlighting the tension between sexual empowerment and the loss of agency that often surrounds women’s representation.

After its release on our then-Instagram platform @playbabe0, the account was permanently disabled; yet another attempt by Meta to censor women-led projects and restrict the visibility of bodies, sexuality, and self-expression that fall outside mainstream comfort zones.

Leaked Tape stands as a statement on bodily autonomy, and the ongoing fight for control over one’s own image; turning exposure into empowerment, and silence into resistance.
